Redistribution Driver & Battery Swap Operator

The Role

We are looking for a night shift Battery Swap Operator & Redistribution Driver who is confident driving a van, the successful candidate will be responsible for swapping batteries for our e-bikes and e-scooters throughout our operating areas in the city of Norwich. You have the opportunity to become an invaluable member of the team initially on a six month contract.

As a Battery Swap Operator you will be responsible for keeping the wheels moving on our e-bikes as well as our current e-scooter trial. You will need to be conscientious, flexible and have a can do attitude. Most importantly, you will be making yourself invaluable to the scheme and the community. You will have a wonderful opportunity to work within one of the country’s most exciting cycle scheme / e-scooter scheme providers, and take an integral role in our Operations Team.


Ad hoc, and scheduled maintenance, including but not limited to;

  • Carry out the battery swaps for our fleet of e- bikes and e-scooters throughout Norwich.
  • Keeping battery swap out records / driving records.
  • General housekeeping.
  • Make sure charging is being carried out at the depot.
  • Follow all Covid-19 company controls and guidelines at our Norwich depot, in van and on-street.
  • Helping to support continuous service improvements.


  • Hold a full and valid Driving Licence (you will require one days training so you can safely transport the e-scooter batteries)
