Redistribution Driver - Bournemouth

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Redistribution Driver to join our on-street Operations team; responsible for redistributing bikes across our Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole schemes.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

You will be responsible for:

  • Collection of vandalised bikes that have been reported to the control room
  • Collect bikes on the street that have been tagged by our e-moped and e-bike teams as needing collection
  • Redistributing bicycles within Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole and schemes under the direction of the Control Room as per data systems
  • Responding to and resolving urgent on-street issues 
  • Tidy up the out of bay bikes back into the scheme
  • Managing all interactions with the councils in a prompt, courteous and professional manner, with a commitment to identify the specific problem or concern and either resolve it or ensure it is appropriately referred 
  • Accurately recording and documenting all interactions through Bike Share system 
  • Identifying and reporting technical issues in Bike Share system 
  • Reporting problems and suggestions to the Control Room team

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We need someone who:

  • Is happy to work autonomously, with a strong work ethic 
  • Experience with computer-based systems
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Able to work weekends
  • Interest in biking/cycling preferred but not essential

Please note; we are looking for someone to cover a 22.00 - 06.00 shift on a 5 day week basis. Rota's are based on 3 week rotations. This role is a fixed-term role for 6 months.
