Redistribution Driver & Battery Swap Operator (6 months fixed term)

The Role

We are looking for a daytime Redistribution Driver & Battery Swap Operator who is confident driving a van and providing on-street customer service. 

As a Redistribution Driver & Battery Swap Operator you will be responsible for keeping the wheels moving on our e-bike and e-scooter fleet. You will need to be a self-starter, used to working alone and managing a workload efficiently. You will have a wonderful opportunity to work within one of the country’s most exciting cycle scheme / e-scooter scheme providers, and take an integral role in our Operations Team.

Please note that you will be working 5 shifts a week over 7 days on differing rotations. Please be advised that this role is a 6 month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension. 


Including but not limited to:

  • Carry out the battery swaps for our fleet of e- bikes and e-scooters throughout Norwich
  • Redistribute bikes/scooters between our workshop and the scheme and vice versa
  • Balancing of bikes/scooters between bays
  • Using apps and technology provided to plan workload and keep work records 
  • Make sure charging is being carried out at the depot
  • Follow all Covid-19 company controls and guidelines at our depot/workshop, in van and on-street
  • Helping to support continuous service improvements
  • Provide on-street customer service to support Beryl users
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as required


  • Hold a full, clean and valid Driving Licence (you will require one days training so you can safely transport the e-scooter batteries).
