The Role

We are looking for a talented and versatile Stores Person to oversee our newly established bike & scooter stores for all of our beryl schemes. You will become a key component of the team by helping to keep all Beryl’s bike-share & scooter schemes moving.

Our Stores Person will be responsible for keeping the wheels moving. You will need to be conscientious, a problem solver, good communicator, flexible and have a can-do attitude. Most importantly, you will be making yourself invaluable to the schemes and the communities that rely on them. You will have a wonderful opportunity to work within one of the country’s most exciting cycle scheme providers, and take an integral role in our operations as our Stores Person, with the opportunity to expand your skills and grow the role over time as we expand the business. This is a very exciting role if you want to up-skill and become crucial to the business.



  • Manage the inventory in the warehouse.
  • Oversee goods in, stock control, warehousing, and goods-out.
  • Manage distribution across the UK operations.
  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with our inventory management system.
  • Carry out full stock take as required.
  • Liaise with other depot’s and transport companies.
  • Produce reports (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc).
  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.



  • Experience working in a stores environment and keen to progress your skills and position.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management procedures and best practices.
  • Knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Confident to be trained with warehouse management software and databases.
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Having a full Forklift licence is advantageous but training will be available if required.

  • Successful candidates will be subject to a 2 stage interview process arranged both virtually and face to face. A standardised question and scoring system will be used during the interview process.
