Job Overview: Due to rapid growth, we are looking for a ‘Business Development & Bid Administrator’ to join our Business Development (BD) and Policy Directorate. The role will report to the Bid Manager, who will guide and support your professional development at Beryl. This role is perfect for a recent graduate or experienced administrator seeking entry into the micromobility and sustainable transportation industry.
This is a key role and its purpose is to support our BD team in the preparation and submission of bids and other growth opportunities, as well as provide administrative support to the wider team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the coordination of the bid process from start to finish, including collating and organising all necessary documentation
- Provide administrative support to the business development team, including organising new opportunities (e.g. bids) tracking BD metrics
- Respond to customer queries and requests for information in a timely and professional manner
- Provide general administrative support to the wider team, including organising meetings, managing travel arrangements, and maintaining accurate records
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in administration and support, preferably in the mobility industry
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word (or Google equivalents)
- A passion for sustainable transportation and a commitment to making a positive impact on the environment.
Desirable:
- Fluency in a second language (particularly French or Spanish).
The role will be primarily based in our London (Shoreditch) office, with the flexibility to work from home when appropriate. Application Process
